Hello, I am Kerry Levine, a dedicated personal trainer at Sofit. I specialize in weight loss, muscle mass enhancement, and strength improvement. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, focusing on fitness, I bring expertise in corrective exercise, nutrition, and rehabilitation to my clients.

My journey in fitness began in my early teen years. The pivotal moment was when a soccer coach's misguided advice to lose weight spurred me into seeking guidance from physical therapists and trainers. This experience not only reshaped my perspective on fitness but also fostered a healthy relationship with nutrition. Fueled by passion, I pursued my education, channeling my experiences into a career dedicated to helping clients achieve their optimal look and feel.

From the age of 12 to 20 I was fighting addiction on the streets of Baltimore city. When I turned 19, I moved to Virginia with my mother and step father. In my efforts of trying to stay out of trouble I found that idle time was a problem for me. At the end of the workday, I didn’t have anything to do and didn’t know anyone in the area so out of boredom I began lifting some old weights I found in the garage. Something funny happened when I finished working out…I felt great! Don’t get me wrong, exercise was very difficult at the beginning especially after 9 years of destroying my body. But I refused to give up. Quickly, working out became a part of my life. Wanting to take my fitness to the next level, I went in search of a gym. The day I stepped foot into a gym, and I felt at home. I felt like I belonged there. Something moved me to just go up and ask one of the trainers how I can become one of them. He told me I needed to get certified and told me where to go. I attended some classes, took their test, and passed. A few of the senior trainers took me under their wing, encouraging me to pick up more certifications and better myself…so I did. 16 years ago, I Slowly started building a reputation. I felt I could relate to my client’s struggles and told them if I could change my life so can they.
Coach Yong
My passion is to help people, it always has been. I love that I’m in a position to guide and mentor those who seek to look and feel better physically, mentally, and emotionally. I get the opportunity to push people past their boundaries, surpass their limitations, and attain what they think is unattainable so that they can improve. Helping my clients make a positive change in their quality of life and wellbeing is what drives me to do what I do. It’s been a blessing and privilege to work with each individual that I have. I'm grateful for the countless number of hours that have accrued in changing people’s lives over the years. There’s nothing else I’d rather do!
